Gifted a pottery class to my family members for Christmas, had a private class and we learned so much. David is an excellent instructor, patient and knows his craft. Once Covid hit - we also rented a pottery wheel - such an incredible opportunity. Myself and my kids aged 11-7 were successful at creating pieces. Can't recommend highly enough!

I recently attended a class with my 3 adult daughters as part of our girls weekend away.David and his staff are friendly, funny and amazing! We were trying wheel throwing pottery for our first time. The Instruction we received was excellent! There was lots of individual support and encouragement throughout the class. It was definitely a highlight of our weekend! We all came away from the class wanting to go back.The studio was very well equipped and a great space to work in.I would HIGHLY recommend this studio to both experienced and beginner potters. It is also a great experience for a fun date night or event.

I took Wheel Throwing for Beginners Class at their Kellogg Lane location. The instructor (Nia) was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and so very patient. I learned a tremendous amount and had a great time. I finished the class with many pieces of pottery. I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience.

Cottage Pottery Studio and The Pottery
My husband and I went to a “date night” experience and we haven’t stopped talking about it since. Our host / teacher David was not only patient, kind, encouraging and supportive but provided some great insight into the art of pottery including ergonomics and history and what he’s learned in his 30+ year career. We both came to this event with no experience on a wheel and very little exposure to this art form and left with such an appreciation. I would highly recommend a class or event of any format with this company!

Cottage Pottery Studio and The Pottery
I had an incredible time during the four week long Wheel Throwing for Beginners class, making a healthy amount of little cups, bowls, and pots along the way. Our instructor Noel did a great job guiding the class so that everyone made a number of functional forms and had some laughter along the way. Looking forward to seeing my creations once they’re fired and eventually taking another class! Thanks :)

My bridesmaids booked a private pottery class for my bachelorette and we had SO much fun! David made the whole process feel a little less intimidating and fun! We each got to make as many pieces as we could in the time we were given, and choose 5 of them to take home as keep sakes. I would highly recommend booking a private group for you and your friends!

Great studio! I first enjoyed a lovely date night experience with cottage pottery. That date night turned into classes and a membership. The people that teach here and work here are amazing and extreemly helpful to new and beginners. I could not recommend this place enough!
